What is the earliest time I can check in?
The earliest check-in time at Colwall Park is at 3 pm. If you plan to arrive before 3 pm, we are more than happy to securely store your luggage so you can relax in our common areas or explore the local area while we prepare your room.
Are there any attractions nearby?
The Malvern Hills have no shortage of beautiful scenery and attractions. Colwall Park is surrounded by gorgeous walks for you and your furry friends to enjoy. There is also a wealth of National Trust locations to explore. We recommend visiting the fascinating Eastnor Castle, Ledbury Market Town or Hereford and Worcester Cathedrals during your stay.
Can I change or edit my booking?
Yes, you can modify your booking up to 48 hours before arrival. We understand that plans can change and will do all we can to accommodate your new requirements. Please get in touch with our reception team on 01684 353092 if you need to change your booking.
What will I find in my room?
Our beautifully decorated bedrooms are ensuite and come with tea and coffee-making facilities, a flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
What's the latest I can check out?
Please check out of your room by 11 am. If you fancy a slower morning, ask our team about arranging a late check-out, available at an extra charge upon request.
How often are the rooms cleaned?
Our wonderful housekeeping team will clean your room daily, guaranteeing a pristine, calming environment for you to relax in.
Can I extend my stay?
Please ask our friendly team if you would like to extend your stay. If we have availability, we would love to continue hosting you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of when you were scheduled to arrive. Let us know on 01684 353092.
Can we have an early check-in?
Early check-in is available upon request at an extra charge. Please call our helpful team at 01684 353092; they will be pleased to arrange this for you.
Is there a good amount of parking spaces?
Yes, there is ample parking at Colwall Park. Our car park is easily accessible.
Do you take group bookings?

Do you have family rooms?

Is your hotel accessible?
Colwall Park has a ramp at the hotel entrance to provide easy access to our reception and restaurant. Please be aware that we have no disabled toilets or bedrooms.
Are there lifts/ramps?
Due to the age of our property, we do not have any lifts. However, our main entrance has a custom ramp to ensure easy access to the ground floor spaces.
Are there accessible rooms/bathrooms?
We do not have specialised accessible rooms and bathrooms at this time. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our friendly team, who will do everything possible to make your stay at Colwall as comfortable as possible.
What's the nearest train station?
Colwall train station is a very short walk from Colwall Park, allowing you to swiftly travel from Birmingham, Hereford and beyond.
Can the hotel book me a taxi?
Yes, of course. Just speak to our helpful team, who will arrange a taxi at your desired time and location.
Food & Drink
What time is breakfast available?
Breakfast is available between 7 and 9 am on weekdays and 8 and 10 am on weekends.
What time is lunch available?
Lunch is served between midday and 2 pm.
What time is dinner available?
Our dinner service runs from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Do I need to pre-book food services?
There is no need to pre-book our food services. We will arrange timings to suit your plans once you check in.
Do you serve halal/kosher meat?
We cannot guarantee that the meat we serve is halal or kosher. However, please don’t hesitate to indicate any dietary requirements to our team. They will be more than happy to talk you through our menu and suggest which meals will be best for your needs.
Do you have sample menus?
Yes, we have sample menus for lunch, dinner and Sunday lunches. Please get in touch at 01684 353092 if you would like any more information.
Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?
We are proud to serve a choice of delicious vegetarian and vegan options on our menus.
Can non-residents arrive for catering services?
Non-residents are more than welcome to book into our catering services. If you are staying with us and would like to invite friends or family to join you for food, simply let us know so we can prepare a table for you.
Do you offer room service?
Yes, we offer room service so you can enjoy our fantastic food from the comfort of your room.
Dog Friendly
Where does my dog litter?
We have a large garden area where you can take your dog to litter. Providing a clean and enjoyable space for you and our other guests is important to us. We have provided a dog bin at the front of the hotel for our guests to use.
Is my dog allowed in all common areas?
As a pet-friendly hotel, we welcome pets in all our common areas except the restaurant.
Is there an extra cost to bring the dog?
Bringing your furry friend on holiday with you costs only £15.00 per dog per night.
Do you have specific rooms for dogs?
Yes, we have tailored rooms to best suit our guests who are accompanied by their dogs.
Can I leave my dog alone in the room?
No, all pets are the responsibility of their owners, so we kindly ask that you do not leave your pet unattended in your room.
Will my check-in/check-out be different if I am bringing a dog?
Check-in times are the same for all of our guests. However, if you require a late or early check-in or check-out, please get in touch with our helpful team, who will be able to arrange that for you.
Am I responsible for cleaning up after my dog?
Yes, owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Colwall Park has provided dog bins for your convenience.
Weddings
How do we book the registrar?
A registrar can be booked through Herefordshire County Council. Click here for more information on what the council requires.
How much does the registrar charge?
The rate you will be charged for the registrar will vary depending on various factors. Fees must be paid in advance. View Herefordshire County Council’s fee guide.
What time can we book the ceremony for?
We can arrange timings to suit you best. Please fill out our wedding enquiry form, and we will be in touch to discuss options.
Is it possible for us to have the ceremony elsewhere and just have the reception at the hotel?
At Colwall Park, we offer reception-only packages. These are ideal if you plan to hold your ceremony in a local church or registry office and then entertain your guests with us afterwards.
Do you allow confetti to be thrown?
Yes, however, we ask for eco-friendly, biodegradable confetti to be used.
Is your venue easy to find, and how do I find it?
Colwall Park is easily accessible by car and is also only a short walk to the train station. Please visit our location page for precise directions.
Do you allow candles to be lit in the reception room?
Candles create a beautiful ambience in our reception room. Please feel free to incorporate them into your decor.
Do you allow external caterers?
The wedding packages we offer at Colwall include our excellent catering service. As such, we don’t allow external caterers.
Do you allow fireworks displays?
Due to being a pet-friendly hotel, we do not allow fireworks displays.
When can we have access to the reception room?
Access to the reception room will depend on the time of booking. However, we will always allow plenty of time for you to prepare the room as you wish.
Is there a room for the bridal party to get ready on the day?
Our beautiful bedrooms are the perfect space for the bridal party to get ready together. Let us know how many rooms you would like to book.
How much is a deposit required to confirm?
We ask for a £500.00 deposit when booking your big day with us.
How do I go about booking?
To book Colwall for your wedding, we require a signed contract and a £500 deposit. Find out more about our wedding packages here.
Can we set up a payment plan?
Yes, please let us know if a payment plan is your preferred method. We can set this at a rate that is best for you.
Conferences and Events
When can we access the conference room for setting up?
Access to the conference room will depend on when you booked the room. Please let us know if you need additional time to set up, and we will do all we can to help.
What are the conference room's opening hours?
Our conference room is usually in use between 8 am and 10 pm, making this a fantastic venue for all kinds of events.
Are the promoters allowed to set up the event the evening before?
Please contact us if you would like to set up the evening before the event so we can ensure the room is available.
