Eastnor Castle
Eastnor Castle is one of England's most beautiful castles, and only five minutes from Colwall Park Hotel. With its history, architecture and glorious surroundings it attracts visitors from all over the world. Eastnor also hosts a large variety of special events, and is home to the Land Rover 4wd course.
Elgar Route
A circular route around the two counties taking in many of the Elgar landmarks.
- Elgar's birthplace, Lower Broadheath - Elgar was born in The Firs on the 2nd June 1857.
- Marl Bank, Rainbow Hill, Worcester -
Elgar's last house - he lived here from 1929 until his death in 1934. The house itself was demolished in 1969, and on its site stands Elgar Court.
- Napleton Grange, near Kempsey, Worcester -
Elgar lived here from 1923 to 1927, in a house suited to the Master of the King's Music, a post he was appointed to in 1924.
- Upton upon Severn - Elgar used to take bike rides to Upton Upon Severn. The pretty riverside town has a lot of attractive features including the distinctive Pepperpot tower.
- British camp (The Herefordshire beacon) - British Camp, or the Herefordshire Beacon is an Iron Age Hill Fort, and one of the most distinctive features of the Malvern Hills.
- Craeg Lea, 86 Wells Road, Malvern Wells - Elgar lived here from 1899-1904.

Malvern Hills is an area of outstanding natural beauty. A superb location for those who enjoy walks, with a path leading from the Hotel gardens.
