Christmas Celebrations
We aim to ensure that you have a friendly, traditional and relaxing Festive Break with us. Head Chef James Garth and his Award Winning brigade will once again be creating superb seasonal dishes for your enjoyment and as always you can escape to the crackling log fire in the Lantern Bar or one of our cosy lounges. Add the outstanding winter scenery of the Malvern Hills (although we can’t guarantee snow again this year!) and you have all the ingredients for a perfect Christmas getaway.
Christmas Eve - Friday
Afternoon Tea & Christmas Cake to welcome you on your arrival. Relax until 7:00pm, when you will be able to meet your fellow guests at a festive Punch Reception. Tonight's gourmet dinner will be served in our Seasons Restaurant, following which we will have a visit from the Malvern Hills Brass Band, playing traditional carols in the Lantern Bar. For those wishing to attend, Midnight Mass is celebrated at nearby St James Church, Old Colwall.
Christmas Day - Saturday
Relax after breakfast and enjoy a stroll on the Malvern Hills or perhaps a brisk walk round our gardens to work up an appetite for lunch at 12:30 for 1:00 - a six course mouth-watering tour de force prepared by James and his team. We ask all guests to take Christmas Day Lunch on shared tables (no, you won't be split up), to try and encourage a convivial house-party atmosphere.
Christmas evening is one of pure relaxation - a buffet supper (for those who can manage it!), traditional board games and a light-hearted trivia quiz by the log fire.
Boxing Day - Sunday
You may wish to visit the historic market town of Ledbury to see the spectacular Boxing Day Hunt Meet or take a brisk walk along the river at Upton on Severn. Let us know if you would like to see the traditional pantomime at Malvern Theatres and we will happily arrange tickets for you. Enjoy your last evening with a splendid candlelit dinner in our Seasons Restaurant.
27th December - Monday
After breakfast we say a fond farewell to guests who are leaving us. We would, however, be happy to have you stay a little longer and can offer you a very special Dinner Bed & Breakfast rate of only £75.00 per person per night.

New Year’s Eve Celebrations
Join us to celebrate the New Year in traditional style with a relaxing evening of gourmet dining with good friends and good company.
Friday - New Year's Eve
You may wish to spend the day strolling the Malvern Hills or exploring one of the attractive cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford or Gloucester. What better way to work up an appetite for this evening's mouth-watering six-course candlelit gourmet dinner, rounded off with a Champagne Toast at midnight! A truly memorable evening with friends old and new. Although we don’t have a disco or band, you are more than welcome to smooch to our background music of light jazz, if the mood takes you!
Saturday - New Year's Day
For horse race enthusiasts there's the annual meet at Cheltenham; enjoy the delights of the Cotswolds; experience the pleasure of driving on quiet unspoilt roads around the Wye Valley and Welsh Marches. In the evening enjoy a wonderful a la carte dinner in Seasons Restaurant.
